+ We love Vietnam and Vietnamese cuisine, so when the opportunity arose to spend time with our friends at 7 Bridges brewing in Hội An, we leapt at the chance and brewed a collaborative cucumber and coriander sour, Good Morning Vietnam, for a limited release, which we then entered in the Asia Beer Championships and it won a Bronze Medal for Best Sour Beer. When we got back to Hong Kong, the creative juices kept flowing, so we decided to build on those flavours to make a sour inspired by the delicacy and complexity of Vietnamese pho. With cucumber, lime, coriander, a touch of ginger, star anise and cinnamon, this is a savoury sour that definitely isn’t a pho! Aroma: Big and Bold, with Refreshing Lime and Cucumber Taste: Zippy with clean cucumber notes and a zingy lime hit, there’s a touch of spice underneath that rounds this out beautifully. It may not be a Pho, but pairs beautifully with Vietnamese food as well as all sorts of other options.
